My Home

My home is a clean single story that features a variety of toys and activities and has large outside play area for hours of fun.

My Philosophy

This is a loving, interactive, small group setting where kindness and sharing is a must.  We are constantly learning through play with games, singing, arts and crafts, gardening and many, many other hands-on, fun activities. I can honestly say that I have as much fun as the children do!

We work on shapes, colors, numbers, ABC's and even writing letters when ready.  All this is done in a very playful way to encourage exploring and learning new things.

I also provide lots of help with potty training!

Licensing

I've been fully licensed with the Washoe County Department of Social Services for over 10 years to care for children in my home.

I am married, a non-smoker and mother of two school aged children, ages 13 & 9. I know how scary if can be to find a child care provider you feel comfortable with.  I've been there and completely understand how

Most of the children in my care over the years have been with me from infancy until school age. I have excellent references, including from social services.

It is my intent to provide a loving home away from home environment for all the children in my care while learning and making new friends.
